Year In Review | 2024-2025
The 2024–2025 Year in Review begins with a mysterious figure, Agent F, arriving on the GLAA campus to investigate a strange case. Inside his office, he prints photos from school events, studies the evidence, pins them to a poster board, and connects each moment with yarn as he searches for answers. As each photo is added to the board, the video transitions into the events of the school year, highlighting funny moments, meaningful memories, class spirit, competitiveness, and the experiences that made the year memorable.
Throughout the film, the story cuts back and forth between the year’s events and Agent F’s investigation. As the mystery builds, he narrows down his list of student suspects, with Robbie Beckermeyer becoming his main suspect. Near the end, Agent F finally solves the case: the mystery is the yearbook, made up of all the events and memories from the school year.
Just as he makes the discovery, the lights go out, leading him through a dark, smoky hallway to the final reveal: the completed yearbook, which no student has seen before. The video ends with the yearbook being stolen, setting up a live reveal in the chapel. Robbie Beckermeyer runs in with the yearbook, chased by Agent F and the yearbook team, before the book is recovered and announced to the student body.
Michael Gillham served as the main videographer and head editor for this Year in Review. Assistant videographers included Josiah Garcia and Vilaysone Onevathana. Michael edited all Agent F cutscenes and most of the event recaps, while Vilaysone edited several senior-focused sections, including Senior Recognition, Senior Trip to D.C., and Bible Camp. The rest of the yearbook team also contributed through lighting, props, writing, and production support.
