Who am I?

My name is Michael Gillham, and I am a photographer, videographer, and creative storyteller with a passion for capturing meaningful moments and turning them into polished visual stories.

Over the past four years, I have worked extensively with photography, video production, editing, social media content, yearbook design, and live media support. Through my work at Great Lakes Adventist Academy, I have covered school events, senior portraits, promotional projects, student life, spiritual programs, and large creative productions such as the Year in Review video.

My creative work is built around more than just making something look good. I want each photo, video, or design to help people remember an experience, understand a story, or feel connected to a moment. Whether I am photographing a senior session, filming a school event, designing a yearbook page, or editing a promotional video, my goal is to create work that feels clean, intentional, and meaningful.

I plan to continue developing these skills as I study Strategic Communication with a focus in Advertising at Southern Adventist University, where I hope to grow as a visual communicator and use media to tell stories with purpose.
